18th Annual Forrest Spence 5K

The Forrest Spence 5K returns on August 23rd, 2025 for our 5th year at Shelby Farms Park.
Don’t just run, run to serve a family in need.
Bring the entire family to enjoy a fun morning at Shelby Farms Park where we will offer a 100 yard dash for kids (8 & under) at 9:15 and 1 Mile Fun Run (kids 12 & under) at 9:20 am. There will be games, bounce houses, slides, food, awards, and more.
The Forrest Spence Fund is an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that assists with the non-medical needs of critically or chronically ill children and their families throughout the Mid-South. We have assisted over 143,000 families with a sick child.
Ghost Runner / Virtual Runner
If you are unable to join us in person, we would love to have you join us as a Ghost Runner/Virtual Runner. You can choose to have your packet mailed to you instead of having to attend a packet pickup during the registration process. All participants who post a virtual time will be entered into a drawing for 1 of 8 door prizes! Register today and join us in supporting the Forrest Spence Fund.
